About

EmpowHer

EmpowHer was originally developed to help women in our community become more engaged in the community through volunteerism and community engagement. And although the core of the program remains the same, it has also changed drastically from the ideas that all Alumni's has contributed.

Leadership, Focus, Upskilling (Digital & Soft Skills), Training, Personal Development, Mentorship, Networking, Sustainable Employment possibilities, Education, Community Action, Engagement, Civic Action - are just some of the focus that Empowher has developed over the last 4 years.

We evolved to include the very real needs voiced by our participants and continue to develop at every cohort, because our programming is fluid and malleable, developed to create maximum impact in a short period of time.

Women can come into our program with some focus, and others without any focus at all, but through the program they become great at research, great at understanding beyond "normal". They don't guess at future careers, they study and question the market and understand where the future lies.

Our participants range from 15 - 29 years old, but the one thing we have learned about the women in our program is that they are exceptional. Inspiring. Driven. Age has nothing to do with who and what they choose to become.

Be part of EmpowHER - We challenge you to be Empowered, Inspired and Focused.
